3D Integrated Chip Architecture Senior Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantum Assembly Engineer to join our team. You will be a valuable member of the groundbreaking developments of QuantWare to tackle the major bottleneck the quantum computing industry is facing today: scaling up to high qubit counts. The ideal candidate will use their experience in the field of chip assembly, designing 3D architectures, and/or microwave engineering to make major contributions in proving the concept of scalability to 1000+ qubits.

Responsibilities:

• Design, manufacture, and assemble superconducting quantum devices.

• Help setting up (cryogenic) microwave measurements on quantum devices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize device performance

• Troubleshoot and debug assembly issues

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in (quantum) assembly engineering

• Proficient in Python, Inventor, and/or AutoCAD

• Experience in thin film technologies and micro-assembly processes.

• Experience with microwave engineering and cryogenic measurements

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
