Your challenge

As a Quantum Micro/Nano Fabrication Technician, you will play a crucial role in the precise fabrication of components essential for the advancement of our 3D architecture development. Your expertise will be fundamental in materializing our ambitious vision of producing quantum processors boasting over 1000 qubits. These groundbreaking advancements will not only empower our customers' cutting-edge research but also our internal mission to realise a scalable quantum computer, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in quantum computing technology.


Responsibilities

  • Nano Fabrication Expertise: Execute nano fabrication processes using techniques such as ALD, PECVD, and evaporation, contributing to the development of components crucial for advancing our 3D architecture;

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous visual inspections and electrical probing to ensure the quality and integrity of fabricated components, adhering to stringent standards;

  • Process Enhancement: Explore novel materials and fabrication methodologies to enhance component quality and accelerate production throughput, driving continuous improvement in our fabrication processes;

  • Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous documentation of production processes, procedures, and specifications to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Job requirements

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about quantum technology and preferably have a strong technical foundation and education. Furthermore, you:

  • Have a technical background at MBO or HBO level, like chemical engineering or physics;

  • Speak English;

  • Have experience working in a cleanroom environment;

  • Are excited to perform precise and consistent execution of demanding nano fabrication tasks, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high-quality standards.
